Chauffeur Driven Option

Why do we have a chauffeur option?

All too often from other organisation we hear comments like, "if you can't mountain bike or walk there then you shouldn't be there". We at NZ Adventures firmly believe that every NZer has the right to see their own country no matter what their age or physical capabilities allow.

Many people have never; in their younger years been able to mountain bike or walk into a lot of these places. Also, as we get older we can often no longer do the things we used to be able to do when we were younger. We firmly believe that every person has as much right to see and be in these "outback" areas as anyone else does, especially if vehicle tracks to these places already exist.

The chauffeur option fills this gap nicely, especially for those who want to "go there" but feel that they may not have the confidence or ability to drive themselves.

Hiring a 4WD Vehicle

Many people like to hire a 4WD vehicle to allow them more time getting to and from the tours. Often they find it faster to leave their own vehicle in the North Island and fly down and "pick up" a vehicle then drop it off again at the end and fly back home.
