Choose from our established favourites, the six day High Country Heritage, five day West Coast Heritage, five day Southern Lakes Explorer or the five day McKenzie Country Explorer. All are unique, fully guided experiences for the discerning traveller and include good hotel/ lodge style accommodation and quality meals.

NZ Adventures has by far the largest off-road vehicle access resource in New Zealand. We travel through many private and Conservation areas many restricted to vehicles. No bush bash, our routes are chosen for their scenic, cultural and historic values. Most of our Safaris are suitable for those with little off-road experience.

Our qualified guides are all enthusiastic about NZ's back country, its people and heritage, they genuinely enjoy taking you further into this remote and secret world than you ever imagined possible and will give advice and tips on off-road driving as you wish.

What's New?

St James Station. Just before Christmas 2008 the government announced the purchase of St James Station from the Stevenson family. This acquisition allows us opportunities to access this property which we have never been able to do before.

In September 2010 Malcolm met with the DoC area manager, did a flyover of part of the property and out to the Waiau River on a second track by 4WD. NZ Adventures now has a concession which will allows us travel in this new Conservation Park.

St James Station offers stunning mountain scenery opportunities in valleys that have not previously been open to the public. The land was de-stocked in 2010 and we are now able to offer tours across this property as part of our West Coast Heritage tour and also offer shorter tours which will encompass this and part of Molesworth Station. We will be offering these tours from October to May each year.

These tours will also offer the opportunity for the chauffeur option to allow for those who do not have or want to drive their own vehicle. If you would like to know more about this just contact us for more information.
