The roads we travelled on are so fascinating and ones that we would never be able to travel down on our own. Their knowledge of the areas we travelled through is just brilliant and makes the whole trip come to life - you are not just travelling through the countryside - you are being taken back in time with the stories of each area and the people that lived and worked there.

A few special highlights for us on this trip were the incredibly informative tour through Stockton Mine, visiting Denniston Mine, and travelling through tunnels blasted to divert the rivers for gold mining.
